The Perfect Provenance Launches Sustainable-Upcycle-Perfect
 
Greenwich Fashion, Culinary, and Design Partners Team Up to Bring Sustainable-Upcycling-Perfect with Events to Benefit Kids in Crisis Organization.

NEW YORK, NY, March 1, 2019 – Luxury lifestyle store and café, The Perfect Provenance announces its latest exhibit, Sustainable-Upcycling-Perfect, focusing on promoting sustainable living and upcycling. In partnership with fellow Greenwich, CT partners, The Local Vault and Stylist Maria Turkel, Sue Bodson of Emboss, LLC and Chef Silvia Baldini, The Perfect Provenance will host a series of events and initiatives to benefit Kids in Crisis, a crisis counseling and temporary emergency shelter and prevention program for CT children and families.

To launch Sustainable-Upcycling-Perfect, The Perfect Provenance is inviting clients to participate in its game and clothing drive throughout the month of March. Shoppers will be encouraged to donate new or gently used children's clothing, women's clothing, or children’s games to benefit the Kids In Crisis organization. Clients can bring in up to 5 new or gently used items to The Perfect Provenance or Zaniac Greenwich and The Perfect Provenance will donate an additional $1 for each item to Kids in Crisis. Additionally, clients will also be able to donate to Kids In Crisis with their purchase at the register or online. Finally, The Perfect Provenance will also donate 5% of from The Perfect Provenance Collection on The Local Vault sales to Kids In Crisis.

*Sustainable & Upcycling Fashion & Home with Stylist Maria Turkel & The Local Vault (Thursday, March 28, 2019) – Hosted by Sue Bodson of Emboss, LLC, guests will learn how to de-clutter and reinvent their closets with Stylist Maria Turkel and how to best value furniture and antiques with tips from The Local Vault team.

* Simple Power-Meals and Wholesome Cooking with Silvia Baldini (Wednesday, April 10, 2019) – Join Chopped Champion and Co-Founder of The Secret Ingredient Girls, Silvia Baldini at the chef’s table to invigorate your meals on this 6 part course. Boost your kitchen skills and gain an instant repertoire of wholesome, fresh and delicious back to basics meals that are perfect for family and weekend meals.

“Having sustainable fashion has been part of our concept since the very beginning,” said Lisa Lori, Founder and Curator, The Perfect Provenance. “I’m excited to teach our neighbors, friends and family how to find ways to add value to their personal items and how items they no longer use can be repurposed and treasured by others.”

The Perfect Provenance will highlight a variety of repurposed, reclaimed or eco-friendly items in its in-store exhibit including using recycled paper for Café 47 menus and introducing composting to its clientele.

Located in Cos Cob, Connecticut Kids In Crisis provides emergency shelter, crisis counseling, and community education programs for children of all ages and families facing crisis.
