About Elena Ghisellini
Internationally acclaimed designer Elena Ghisellini brings together unparalleled Florentine and Italian craftsmanship in her iconic designs. The collection at her eponymous brand features exquisite Elena Ghisellini handbags made of soft, high-quality leather made in Italy with the finest craftsmanship.
She began her career working for Salvatore Ferragamo as head of their Leather Goods division. In 2003, Elena Ghisellini opened her namesake label in Florence. That same year she joined Riccardo Tisci at Givenchy as Head Accessory Designer, a position that she held for 9 years.
After the experience with Tisci, Elena moved to Emilio Pucci, again as Head Accessory Designer. In addition to her own label, she currently acts as a consultant for many other renowned luxury brands including Tod’s. Elena Ghisellini was nominated by The New York Times as one of the four best designers in the world for the artistic management of fashion companies.
