Born in Tokyo in 1982 and at the age of 9 months, left Japan and grew up in different countries following the missions of his father and language professor mother. He was always been fascinated by different forms of beauty in different parts of the world. This has ultimately led to his life’s work.
Studying in art history and French literature at New York University and fashion design at Studio Berçot in Paris, he then landed his first job at Yves Saint Laurent. In 2012, he first became an independent designer, Kanye West was his first client and this collaboration continued for five years for his label, Yeezy. Today, he continues to work with prestigious French maisons as consultant specialized in leather goods.
