Seaform Poster by Chihuly

The Seaforms series, begun in the early 80’s, represents Chihuly’s push at the possibilities of glass as a medium, especially in regards to the diaphanous potential of the material. This series of work shows not only Chihuly experimenting with the dexterity of glass but also shows an artist exploring forms that are at once delicate and active. The end results are works which suggest the expressive gesture of a fluid body.
