These vintage enamel coffee pots are in great condition and have unique markings specific to each style. We found these great pieces on a recent buying trip in Paris, at the world's oldest flea market in Saint-Ouen where we found a curator who specializes only in vintage coffee pots grinders and coffee related antiques.

This is a gathering of an extremely wide range of mouth blown and pressed glass pitchers. These items were sourced across all Europe, mostly Italy, Romania, Hungary and Germany. These pitchers come in a range of color and size. Some items can be as old as 1940 and as new as the 1980’s, with an average of 70 years of age.

Luigi Castiglioni (1936 - 2003) once said, "There is no need to show dedication, everybody [already] knows that it is inseparable from sports". Instead, he chose to highlight the quietly elegant and dynamic nature of athletics in his designs. This poster is from Castiglioni's retrospective series of his best tennis images. This image was originally created for the Tournoi de Saint Quay Portrieux in 1979.

Luigi Castiglioni was raised and educated in Milan, Italy. After completing studies at the Accademia Belle Arti, he began his professional career as a set designer for the opera and film industries. His pivot to poster design coincided with his move to Paris in 1960. Once in France, Castiglioni quickly made a name for himself by applying his trademark style of refinement and surrealism to the subject of sports. From boxing to rugby, Castiglioni created poster designs that were very different from the typical brash and rough depictions of the time. His style was immensely popular for obvious reasons, and he created over 300 poster designs during his career.

Le Rire Vintage Magazine Cover 1912 was a successful French humor magazine published from October 1894 until its final issue in April 1971. Founded in Paris during the Belle Epoque by Feliz Juven, Le Rire appeared as typical Parisians began to achieve more education, income and leisure time. Interest in the arts, culture and politics intensified during the Gay Nineties. Publications like this helped satisfy such curiosity. It was the most successful of all the "Journaux Humoristiques."

We bought these two vintage covers at an antique dealer in Paris.  Perfect for framing.
