Thank You Greenwich -- Moving West

Thank You Greenwich -- Moving West

Dear Perfect Friends:
It all began with an idea -- to bring some of my favorite things from around the world together in one place -- food, fashion, gifts, events, fun and most of all, community.  I wanted to share all of the amazing things I love from my long career working in PR, luxury goods, travel and food marketing with my Greenwich friends.  After five wonderful years in Greenwich, we have made the difficult decision to make the West Coast our headquarters and close our Greenwich store and Cafe 47.  As many of you know I moved with my family to California two years ago this month and when we left we had no idea what the future would hold for us.

Throughout the past two years, we have faced many challenges like many businesses tackling each one with an amazing team of professionals in our Cafe 47 and retail store.  However, I could never have imagined trying to manage our business in Greenwich during a global pandemic from 3000 miles away and being unable to visit our store and staff for long periods of time.  In that time, we realized just how precious our time is and that we now need to be based on the West Coast.  We have many exciting developments ahead for our company that we know you will love including building our online business, new private label products, trunk shows and more.  We will continue to work with our Greenwich area clientele through private styling, online shopping and seasonal trunk shows that we hope you will love.

Closing our Greenwich location was not an easy decision.  We are so grateful for all of the incredible support of our friends, clients, fellow business owners, charity partners and more, who held us up and have given us a lifetime of memories.  Our building at 47 Arch Street has been so much more to us than a building but a true labor of love, a home where we gathered for celebrations, events, amazing food, Rose All Day, fashion, literature and on and on.  The clients who became friends, the staff who became our family is more than I could have ever hoped for.   We hope you enjoy the selection of photos in this email.

Our company, designers and energy will not change, we see this as a new adventure, an opportunity to grow our business and expand in the West where it will be easier for me to manage and create.    I am traveling back to Paris for the first time in two years in September to attend shows and find new treasures.  I hope you will continue to stay with us as clients online or will visit us in California at our two wonderful stores in Tiburon and Napa Valley.   Tiffany Mezzone, who has been with me since the beginning will remain with the company working on personal styling, buying and marketing and my dear friend Trisha Dalton will continue as our bookkeeper and colleague..  Our final day of service for Cafe 47 will likely be in the next two to three weeks and the store will close on or around August 15th as we pack up and move any unsold merchandise West.   I hope you will come by for a meal and to say good luck to our wonderful staff.  We will be of course having a Moving West sale for any items we will not be taking with us to our California stores and announce details tomorrow.

I will be in the Greenwich store today and tomorrow afternoon if you would like to stop by and say hello.   Finally, I know you will join me in thanking my incredible team both past and present for their dedication, service and friendship.  Thank you again to our clients and friends for all of your wonderful support, it has been our pleasure to work with you.  We hope you will continue to support us as we embark on our next chapter.
Enjoy the rest of your summer.

As always -- cheers -- lisa lori
